Glory Hole In San Diego

Letter to the President of SAN SENART

Subject: Common cycling Sénart

Sir

At the forum of associations to which our association has participated in September 2009 on two sites Sénart (Moissy-Cramayel and Cesson - Vert Saint Denis ) many, asked about their cycling and obstacles to it, we have reported the lack of continuity of bike lanes on Sénart, especially between cities. From this point of view, the implementation of this infrastructure is long overdue. This is not understandable for a city that adheres to the Club of Cities and territories Cyclables next to the attendance of certain roads as county 306.

We regret the absence of a genuine policy of the bike which symbolically reflects the fact that the documentation center of the SAN does not have a single subscription to the magazine "City and bike" produced by the Club of Cities and territories paths. Similarly we are surprised that no longer participates in Sénart Day bike that takes place every year in early June and mobilizes world cities around bike. The Vélofolies held once every two years in September is an excellent initiative which should be complementary.

To promote sustainable development there are many tracks including the bike should be favored. Indeed, investment and operating costs of infrastructure dedicated make it an economical mode of transportation to all points of view compared to others, same group. Moreover, as the car it promotes individual mobility and often appears more suitable for short distances.

Sénart Bicycle lanes are busy even in winter because they satisfy a need. Beyond the bike paths, other needs related to the use of bicycles as a secure parking at key bus stops (and not just in the station), opportunities for rental of various lengths, services maintenance are expected from existing and potential users.

Hoping that your personal involvement on this issue permits to move these questions, we invite you to meet with you to share the views of our association on what could be a real Political bike Sénart. Please accept, sir, our friendly greetings.

Re: signaling and repair of a soft link

Sir

A bicycle path was built along the T3-Moissy Cramayel your initiative. It is regularly borrowed by both pedestrians by cyclists who find the security needed for their journey along this highway. It could be used further if it were better maintained and better signposted.

The absence of the horizontal and vertical crossings of the main axes of the city makes it inconspicuous indeed. Thus it is often used as area parking to motorists visiting our city during sporting events county. These repeated wild parking may worsen the condition of this road, which would surely discourage its use by cyclists.

It is essential that you take prompt action to repair and signaling of this infrastructure should be linked to Réau during the development of A5 and the BIA will be further used.

Pending a favorable response to our request, please accept Sir, our friendly greetings.

Subject: Protest against illegal parking

Sir

Sunday, January 18 a cross county was organized in Moissy-Cramayel. Many cars were parked on the bike path along the T3, thus preventing any movement of cyclists. This is unfortunately not the first time sporting events generate such behavior on the highway. The fishing contest particular cause inconvenience to users of the bicycle and the risk of damage to infrastructure are not designed to withstand such weight.

Accordingly, we ask you to use your power of police to enforce the free movement of cyclists and pedestrians on roads reserved for them. Tolerate sure roads are so congested and cut off circulation?

Hopefully now appropriate action will be taken at events on the city to prevent such illegal parking, please accept Sir, our friendly greetings.
